Chinese New Year

As part of our PSHE Communities topic this term we have been looking at different groups within our own communities. In order to celebrate diversity and understand different cultures we celebrated the start of Chinese New Year. We learned all about this special time of year and how it is celebrated in China and within Chinese communities locally. We took part in some Chinese arts and crafts and had a celebration feast where we practised our chop stick skills and tried some delicious food. We had a fantastic day.
