Digging Deeper Exhibition

As part of Black History Month we went to The Common Room in Newcastle to visit the Digging Deeper Exhibition. The exhibition told the history of black miners in the North East of England. It had interesting displays showing art work, poems and stories of the miners themselves. Our lovely host Courtney showed us around the exhibition and the gorgeous building. We loved the stained glass windows, the theatre and the lego model of the building itself. We then had some time to challenge ourselves by building some local landmarks in lego.
