Trains, Planes and Automobiles!
As part of our Careers topic, GUST Primary went on a whirlwind tour of the transport jobs that the North East has to offer. We took the minibus to Northumberland Park where we looked around the metro station. Everyone studied the timetable to make sure we knew where we were going and then we bought our tickets to Newcastle Airport.
At the airport, we all took part in an Airport Bingo game, finding and ticking off special words. We also took time to talk to airport staff and even a pilot! It really helped us better understand all of the different jobs in the transport industry.
