Transport Exploration

As we continue to learn about significant events of the 20th Century we have been looking at developments in transport. We have investigated the positives and negatives of lots of different forms of transport and have held debates about which form we believe to be the best. We decided to try a few different types of transport for ourselves and journeyed by bus, train and metro, ending our adventure at the airport. Lots of learning happened throughout the day: we had to figure out what tickets to purchase, how much they cost, the best way to pay for them (and then had to make sure we did not lose them throughout our journey), we had to read maps to make sure we knew where we were and where we were going, we also had to figure out what potential hazards we might encounter on the way in order to set some rules to keep ourselves safe. We had an absolutely brilliant day.
