Today we had an amazing day out at Northumberland Zoo, and what a brilliant day it was! The sun was shining, making it the perfect weather to explore and enjoy everything the zoo had to offer.
We loved seeing all of the incredible animals from around the world. From playful mice to majestic big cats, there was so much to discover. We enjoyed learning interesting facts about the different animals and how the zoo helps to care for and protect them.
One of the highlights of the day was the exciting bird show. We watched in amazement as the birds flew high above our heads, showing off their impressive skills. It was fascinating to learn about their unique behaviours and abilities from the knowledgeable keepers.
After exploring the zoo, we had lots of fun in the play park. It was a great chance to burn off some energy, play with our friends and enjoy the beautiful sunshine.
The gorgeous weather made the whole day even more special, and everyone had smiles on their faces from start to finish. We made lots of wonderful memories, learned about the importance of caring for animals and their habitats, and enjoyed spending time together outside the classroom.
It was a fantastic trip that we will remember for a long time. Thank you to Northumberland Zoo for such a wonderful day and to everyone who helped make our visit so enjoyable!
