Marvellous Marble Runs

As part of our Design and Technology Unit we explored how current inventions are constantly being improved upon by developers in order to make them better. We decided that we could improve the marble run toy by designing our own. We took time to plan out our design, thinking about what materials we would need and how the structure would be held together. We then used our plan to create our very own marble runs. We tested and improved our design as we went before ending up with an end product that we were happy with. We reflected on our own and others creations by highlighting what worked well and making suggestions on how they could be further improved. It was a fantastic unit of learning and everyone had a brilliant time.
