Full Circle Food

Today we went back to Full Circle Food in Ashington to see how our seeds had grown over the last few weeks. We could see all of our herbs sprouting and starting to grow. We gave them a good water and Esther promised she would continue to look after them for us. We had an explore of the allotments to see how much had changed over the term and couldn't believe how much everything had grown. We were able to pot on some winter squash as they had outgrown their current pots and we could see the roots struggling for space.


We did some orienteering around the site using our map skills to discover objects around the grounds. Finally we got to taste some of the lovely seasonal produce. Everyone loved the peas and strawberries! Thanks again to Esther and the team at Full Circle Food for having us and sharing their knowledge with us.
