Fun at Full Circle Food

This week we have been connecting with Full Circle Food to learn about what they do, and how they contribute to our local community. We had a tour of Hirst Park and learned all about its history as a place for miners and their families to meet and relax. We then got to explore their wonderful sensory garden and learn about all of the food they grow in the raised beds. We even got a chance to plant our own seeds which we can go back and check on later in the term. A huge highlight of the day was meeting Luna, Full Circle Food's emotional support dog, I think she loved meeting our learners as much as they loved meeting her. A massive thank you to the lovely Esther for taking the time to meet with us today to share her local knowledge, and help us get started on our own planting journey.
