We’re thrilled to celebrate the incredible achievements of one of our learners, who has been hitting new heights in the world of darts! As part of their Duke of Edinburgh skills section and own aspirations, they’ve put in weeks of practice, dedication, and determination — and it’s certainly paid off.
Recently, Ritchie travelled all the way to Malta to compete in a ranked darts competition, where they threw brilliantly and battled their way into the quarter finals. Thanks to this fantastic performance, they are now officially ranked in their age group — an amazing milestone!
To top it all off, we even had the chance to meet professional darts player Callan Rydz, at our weekly darts session in Ashington who offered some inspiring words and made the experience even more memorable.
A huge well done for this outstanding achievement, Ritchie — we can’t wait to see where those darts land next!
