On 23rd January 2026 our Headteacher, Nigel Grant, was invited to speak at the North East Ambitions SEND Conference in Gateshead.
The conference focus was supporting young people with SEND to plan and develop their personal pathways for the future.
Nigel spoke about Inclusive Futures: Effective Careers Education in a Special School Setting in relation to the careers work we do with our students to help them prepare for their next steps.
We currently work with a number of organisations to develop this as well as delivering vocational subjects.
We are always looking to improve our careers offering to students and looking for organisations to come and work with our students, help with work placements or visits to their site to learn more.
