As part of their ASDAN qualification, students took part in an educational visit to Housesteads Roman Fort on Hadrian’s Wall. The trip offered a valuable opportunity to explore one of the best-preserved Roman sites in Britain and deepen their understanding of Roman history. Students learned about daily life on the frontier, examined original archaeological remains, and took part in activities that supported their coursework. The visit not only enriched their historical knowledge but also helped them develop key skills such as teamwork, enquiry, and communication.
